More leverage. The same level you could never quite close.
Two aluminium extensions that bolt onto the handles of your GD IRON GRIP. They lengthen the lever, so the same resistance setting closes more easily and you bridge the gap between levels.
More leverage, easier closing
How much force it takes to close a gripper depends on where you hold it. The extensions move your grip further from the axis, so the same resistance suddenly closes more easily. It is the simplest way to keep training on a level you cannot quite manage yet.
Bridging the gap between levels
Adjacent levels on the GD IRON GRIP can be up to 13 kg (29 lb) apart. That is a big jump. With the extension handles you train the higher level in the easier position first, then move to the standard grip.
Required for the Pinch Grip
If you want to fit the GD Pinch Grip attachment for pinch strength training, the extension handles are mandatory. The Pinch Grip mounts onto them. The Pinch Grip is sold separately.
Compatibility: please read before ordering
The extensions fit aluminium handles only. Silicone, plastic and stainless steel handles are not compatible, and neither are IRON GRIP models made before 2020.

- GD IRON GRIP 80 and 80 Light made after 2020
Does not fit:
- IRON GRIP with silicone handles
- IRON GRIP 70 (plastic and steel handles)
- any IRON GRIP model made before 2020

Fits these hand grippers
From the GD range, the extensions are made for the GD IRON GRIP 12 in the aluminium handle version. The GD IRON GRIP ext 90 already comes with extended handles from the factory, so it does not need them.
Once the extensions are fitted, you can attach a training aid for individual fingers: GD Pinch Grip
